Berkeley teaches Palestinian propaganda
as "education" Methodist Church officially supports Palestinain terrorists |
Ganelon 101: Palestinian Propaganda at Berkeley Ganelon was the infamous traitor of Roncesvalles
who betrayed Roland and his companions, specifically by telling Charlemagne
that Roland was blowing his horn because he was hunting-- not because he
was being overrun by a horde of militant "Muslims." Today's Ganelons similarly
excuse or downplay the terroristic actions of militant "Islam." Department of English, University of California, Berkeley, offers this course:"As [Roland, sometimes known as Orlando] was leading the rear-guard of Charlemagne's army through the valley of Roncesvalles, he was attacked by the enemy, set on by the traitor Gan [Ganelon]. Dreadful was the slaughter of his knights." Notice that the course begins with the premise that the Israeli military occupation of Palestine (more precisely the West Bank) is "brutal," and that Palestinians are fighting for their right to exist. The course actually purports to treat Palestinian art and poetry about the Israeli "occupation," but the focus is obviously anti-Israel as described above. The Politics and Poetics of Palestinian Resistance One might question the judgment and competence of Berkeley administrators who allowed a course of this nature onto their campus, and especially a course description of this nature into its bulletin. I wonder if they'd also allow course descriptions like "Politics and Poetics of White Aryan Supremacy over N****rs," "The International Jewish-Zionist Conspiracy," "Why Women are Whores and Should be Treated as Chattels"-- the latter would doubtlessly be popular among students from Saudi Tyrannia, Iran, Sudan, and Niger. Meanwhile, here is how Palestinian students actually behave on American campuses: like animals that recently escaped from their keepers, only more viciously. Methodists support terrorists
"Look at the pastoral letter on 9/11 put out by the United Methodist Council of Bishops. The judgment that 9/11 was a 'shattering evil' was cut from the final draft. 'Violence in all its forms and expression is contrary to God's purpose for the world,' the bishops concluded. This apparently means that both rapists and those who drive off rapists with baseball bats are acting in an un-Christian manner. Ditto for terrorists and those who try to stop them, sccording to the bishops." John Leo, "Rage is not the Rage," U.S. News & World Report, 16 September, 2002. "Protestant clerics have also found a higher moral authority in Kofi Annan. General Secretary Jim Winkler of the United Methodist Church General Board of Church and Society... has stated flatly that 'no member nation has the right to take unilateral military action without the approval of the U.N. Security Council." "Wayward Christian Soldiers," Wall Street Journal editorial page, 26 September 2002.
Subject: Methodist Pro-Palestinian resolutions Date: Thu, 06 Jun 2002 12:35:55 -0400 From: "William A. Levinson" <wlevinso ix.netcom.com> [@ deleted from web page to prevent address harvesting] To: mfsa mfsaweb.org http://www.mfsaweb.org/special_middleeast/SPme0200.html My attention was drawn to this page by a posting in soc.culture.israel (to which a copy of this letter will be posted). I was appalled to discover MFSA's apparent bias toward terrorists. Every single MFSA resolution on this page is pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel. MFSA mentions "the severe oppression of the Palestinian people" and "the perversion of the peace process hoped for by both Israelis and Palestinians." Nowhere do I see mention of homicide bombings of Seders (a Seder is a Jewish Passover ceremony), pizza shops, dance halls, Bat Mitzvahs (teenage girls' coming-of-age ceremonies), and shopping malls. Nor do I see mention of deliberate shootings of five-year-old Israeli girls, knifings of Israeli women as part of Palestinian "initiation ceremonies," school shootings by Palestinian gunmen, and similar atrocities. Can you imagine what the United States would do to a neighboring region that sent terrorists into our country to kill thousands of people a year-- not just once, but on an almost-daily basis? (Given the population ratios of the U.S. to Israel, this is an accurate comparison. Think "September 11" on a bimonthly basis.) What we're doing to Al Qaida and the Taliban should give you an idea: cluster bombs, fuel-air munitions, "daisy cutters," and so on. That was for ONE incident of mass murder, not an ongoing campaign of bombings and school shootings by infiltrators. Israel's real crime-- against its own people-- is exercising far too much restraint in dealing with these rabid-dog monsters. Since > The General Conference of the United Methodist Church, which meets

it is reasonable to assume that pro-Palestinian and pro-terrorist resolutions are the policy of the United Methodist Church, and therefore the United Methodist Church's leadership consists of Ganelons-- tacit supporters of, or apologists for, the excesses of militant "Islam." The original Ganelon was the traitor of Roncesvalles, who told Charlemagne that Roland was blowing his horn because he was hunting (he was actually being overrun by a horde of militant "Muslims.") Furthermore, I see "Special Topics: Middle East Concerns" > [Two MFSA personnel] help coordinate Voices in the Wilderness, a
The latter is relatively safe, because they know the Israeli Defense Force won't shoot them (intentionally). Now let's see these International Solidarity "people" go back there and hang out in Israeli pizza parlors, shopping centers, and other densely-populated public places. Your Palestinian friends would never bomb them while they were there, would they? I personally wouldn't bet my life on that (literally) but you people apparently feel differently. > Tikkun plan civil disobedience
Another group of well-known Ganelons, and the United Nations is well known for its anti-Israel (and often anti-American) bias. United Nations personnel were even found to be complicit in war crimes, involving use of UN resources to conceal and transport Palestinian terrorists. As I understand military law (although I'm not a lawyer), the UN personnel involved could have, and as far as I am concerned, should have, been court-martialed and executed. The same for Palestinian ambulance drivers who have abused the Red Crescent by transporting explosives. I really think your General Conference people should go to the Sudan, Pakistan, Iran, or Saudi Arabia and "share Jesus" with the inhabitants, since they apparently think these militant "Muslims" are such nice people. Let me know how it works out, if any of them come back-- maybe they should talk to those Shelter Now missionaries before they try it. Meanwhile, since pro-terrorist resolutions seem to be the policy of the United Methodist Church, I will see what I can do to bring this to the attention of Methodists around the country. Hopefully they will become Protestants, Catholics, Baptists, anything but Methodists, when they find out that Methodism includes support of terrorists.. --Bill Levinson |
