National Jewish Democratic Council's anti-Christian bigotry From the same organization that posted repackaged and relabeled Nazi “Jews as Christian haters” propaganda while attempting to whitewash MoveOn.org’s sponsorship of racist, anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic, and anti-Evangelical hate speech at its Action Forum, comes yet another anti-Evangelical smear directed at Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. This, along with Senator Joe Biden’s helpful remark that Barack Obama is a credit to his race (mighty white of him, isn’t it?), leads us to hope that the MoveOn.org wing of the Democratic Party will self-destruct by 2008, thus leading to the election of a moderate Republican or a Blue Dog Democrat. As a refresher, here is what Joe Biden said about Barack Obama:
thus suggesting that the entire Congressional Black Caucus is inarticulate, stupid, dirty, and ugly. This comes as no surprise given the fact that the MoveOn.org wing of the Democratic Party takes the African-American vote for granted, just as it takes the Jewish vote for granted. This brings us to the major issue here. The National Jewish Democratic Council said this about Mike Huckabee:
These are, apparently, the statements to which the National Jewish Democratic Council took exception:
Huckabee is 100 percent correct about what is wrong with our country: a gradual breakdown in our moral values and our understanding of what our country stands for. Huckabee blames a school shooting not on the so-called easy availability of guns (they were far more available fifty years ago) but on a deterioration in people’s values and character. Fifty years ago, you could buy handguns through the mail, and without undergoing any kind of background checks. Teenage boys sometimes carried rifles to school (for use afterward during hunting season, when boys were sometimes expected to bring something home for dinner) but school shootings were almost unheard of. Most crime rates were lower, and there were communities in which people did not bother to lock their doors. The National Jewish Democratic Council apparently takes exception to Huckabee’s proposition, “the real answers lie in accepting Jesus Christ into our lives.” What does NJDC want Huckabee to do–suggest that people convert to Judaism? Judaism does not exactly seek converts, although it accepts them. Hinduism, which teaches pretty much the same things that Jesus taught, does not seek converts either. The truth is that all decent people, with the kind of moral values that made our country what it is, subscribe to most of Jesus’ teachings even if they do not believe that Jesus was the son of God or that he rose from the dead. All decent people also subscribe to most of Buddha’s teachings, and those of Rabbi Hillel. This is not at all surprising because Natural Law is the foundation of all valid religions, and also the United States’ Constitution. Natural Law, which Hindus call Dharma (the Right Way) and Chinese call Tao (The Way), is the set of natural laws that govern all human behavior. In fact, Evil (Adharma = against Dharma) can be defined as anything that violates natural law by, for example, infringing on someone else’s natural rights to life, freedom, and property. There are many paths to Natural Law. Christianity is the best and easiest path for most Americans, noting that Judaism is not exactly looking for converts. There is in fact nothing wrong with mainstream Islam either but, given the infestation of Islam by evil (see definition above) militant “Muslims,” we do not think that is something the National Jewish Democratic Council would like to recommend–unless it really has so little self-respect that it will tout Islam simply to slap Christians in the face. That is indeed a possibility we are willing to entertain, given its circulation of repackaged and relabeled Nazi “Jews as Christian Haters” propaganda last year.
The material quoted by the National “Jewish” Democratic Council is, in fact, similar to Nazi propaganda whose purpose was to incite hatred of Jews. From “Propaganda and Children during the Hitler Years” by Mary Mills at Nizkor’s Web site,
It was bad enough when genuine Nazis were circulating this kind of thing, and we do not need it from a group that calls itself Jewish. Rabbi Daniel Lapin’s “Why Do “Jewish Organizations” Promote Hate Between Jew and Christian?” meanwhile adds,
This, by the way, is the same Antisemitism-enabling and Denial League
that used its prestige and purported “Jewishness” to whitewash
MoveOn.org’s willfull sponsorship of anti-Semitic hate speech every bit
as vicious as anything that came from the Nazis, including an actual
blood libel of Jews. It is quite clear that ADL’s opposition to
anti-Semitism and racism stops where the MoveOn.org wing of the
Democratic Party begins, just like Indybay.org’s support for gay rights
and women’s rights has been proven to end where the militant “Islamic”
world begins. For the record, it is the ADL that is our
openly-declared enemy, and we will line up with our Christian friends
against the ADL and/or NJDC any day.
