An open letter to Professor Indryk Wichman and the Muslim Students’ Association at Michigan State University

“MSU prof’s e-mail outrages Muslims” in the Detroit Free Press describes how Professor Wichman’s letter to the Muslim Students’ Association, in which he criticized practices like slavery and throat-slitting, sparked “outrage” and demands that the university reprimand the professor. All we have to say is, “If the shoe fits, wear it.”

We will begin by describing two classes of people who call themselves Muslims. The first group consists of people who have embraced American values such as toleration of other people’s religious faiths, rationalism, and industry. Many of them probably moved to Michigan for jobs at once-thriving American automobile plants. These Muslim-Americans are in fact generally better-educated than the average American and enjoy a higher standard of living.

The Zogby survey found that 59% of American Muslims have at least an undergraduate education, making them the most highly educated group in America. Muslim Americans are also the richest Muslim community in the world, with four in five earning more than $25,000 a year and one in three more than $75,000. They tend to be employed in professional fields…

In these respects, Muslim Americans differ from Muslim communities in Britain and Continental Europe, which tend to be poor and socially marginalized. Four other features set American Muslims apart.

First, unlike in Europe the overwhelming majority of Muslims arrived here legally…

While these Muslim-Americans may find cartoons of Mohammed in poor taste, they are no more likely to riot, slit throats, or set cars on fire (as happened in Europe) than Jews and Christians are likely to go on rampages over South Park’s off-color portrayal of Jews, a talking bowel movement by the name of Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo, or Jesus as a Rambo-like figure who shoots bad guys full of holes. Nor has South Park yet started a war between the United States and Canada. This is because, unlike militant “Muslims,” Americans and Canadians are civilized.

There is, however, another class of so-called Muslims, also known as Islamofascists. We use “Islamofascist” deliberately to make a very clear distinction between decent Muslims and individuals who use Islam as an excuse to behave like fascists. Here are some specimens of these individuals, who are unworthy of the respect that a civilized person owes a household pet or domestic farm animal. Like Ku Klux Klansmen brandishing signs with racial epithets, these so-called Muslims display their savagery with slogans like, “Europe, you will pay, extermination is on its way” and “Slay those who insult Islam.”

The Muslim Students’ Association at MSU is doubtlessly capable of understanding a simple Venn diagram and it is up to its members to decide which set and subset they belong in.

Professor Wichman’s comments
WE AGREE WITH THIS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.

I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians, cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests (the latest in Turkey!), burnings of Christian chirches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavain girls and women (called “whores” in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland, and the rioting and looting in Paris France.

This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many, many of my colleagues. I counsul you dissatisfied, agressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile “protests.”

If you do not like the values of the West — see the 1st Ammendment — you are free to leave. I hope for God’s sake that most of you choose that option. Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.

This is one hundred percent accurate and truth does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity. So-called Muslims enslave and even crucify Negro Christians in the Sudan while Saudi Arabian “blood money” compensation laws define women and Christians as half-human. In Saudi Arabia, a Muslim man is worth 100,000 riyals but a Christian woman only 25,000; 50% off for being female and another 50% for being an infidel. A Hindu is meanwhile worth only 1/15 of a Muslim. As for Professor Wichman’s allegations that so-called Muslims call Western women “whores” and feel free to rape them, here are the facts and we quite frankly do not care if the Muslim Students Association finds them disagreeable.

Not all cultures are equal
We subscribe to Eurocentric culturalism and we are proud to do so. Not all cultures are equal, and Euro-American culture stands as far above militant “Islamic” culture as humans do above the common cockroach. Euro-American culture has given the world almost every single noteworthy scientific and cultural innovation that has taken place since the Middle Ages (when medieval Europeans behaved like modern Islamofascists). This is not to say that Muslims have not played major roles in many of these advances, but most if not all were Muslims who emigrated to Europe or North Americas and embraced the cultures and values of those civilizations.

The contributions of the Islamic world (including the pre-Muslim Arab world) to Civilization can probably be counted on the fingers of two hands if not one– and there are plenty of people in the modern Islamic world who have to count on the fingers of one hand because the other has been chopped off for real or imaginary offenses. The Arabs gave the world Arabic numerals, which were far superior to Roman numerals for computational purposes. The Ottoman Empire apparently developed a smallpox vaccine that involved infecting people with smallpox from victims of “mild” cases, thus conferring immunity. It was better than nothing and many parts of Europe copied it. The Islamic world’s contributions to the military sciences included composite bows that, in trained hands, outranged the Welsh longbow, along with the giant cannons that were used to capture Constantinople in 1453.

The Euro-American world has given Civilization just about everything else, including machinery that lifted back-breaking labor from human shoulders, cures and vaccinations for a myriad of illnesses, and exploration ranging from the deepest parts of the sea and the highest mountains to the surface of the Moon. While women in the Islamic world must always cover their faces, American women must sometimes do so as well– such as when they are flying jet aircraft or working in outer space.

We add that it is Euro-Americans who build skyscrapers and jet aircraft, while the best the militant “Muslims” can do is hijack the aircraft and crash them into the skyscrapers. Meanwhile, Israelis turn deserts into gardens while Palestinians, as shown by their looting and destruction of greenhouses that were given to them when they took control of Gaza, turn gardens into deserts.

Now before the Muslim Students’ Association cries “racism!”, we will point out that the reason for the disparity has NOTHING to do with race or ethnicity and EVERYTHING to do with Euro-American versus militant Islamic culture. As shown below, people who read books tend to be far more advanced and educated than those who burn books (and possibly their authors, as the Inquisition did when medieval Europeans behaved like modern Islamic fundamentalists).

“At the very moment Aquinas was telling his fellow Europeans how faith and reason could coexist, his Iranian counterpart, the leading Arab philosopher Ghazzali, concluded that the treasure of ancient texts represented social dynamite. The study of science and philosophy, he wrote, was harmful because it would shake man’s faith in God and undermine the Muslim religion. Accordingly, the ruling caliph of Baghdad, to demonstrate his piety, ordered the burning of all manuscripts in the city’s great library. [This was in an era when books were frightfully expensive because they had to be reproduced by hand.] Muslim scientists, tightly controlled by the ruling theocracies, had access to the ancient science texts, but were ordered to use any of the knowledge they gained only for religious purposes (Ernest Volkman, Science Goes to War, p. 60).”

And Euro-American science does indeed go to war, to the effect that Constantinople (1453) was the Islamic world’s last significant victory over the West, and it was won against a decaying, bureaucratic, and literally Byzantine entity. Little more than 100 years later, a Turkish navy was annihilated at Lepanto (1572) by scientifically-built warships from the Venetian Arsenale. Vienna (1683) was almost a one-sided massacre in which the Turks were routed by superior Polish discipline and military science, and the Turks’ Tartar allies wisely ran away without striking a single blow the instant they saw the Winged Hussars emerge from the Kahlenberg forest. The Russian field marshal Suvorov (1729-1800) boasted of 500-to-one casualty ratios in battles against Turkish Janissaries, due primarily to superior training and discipline. Afterward, only the Europeanized Turks– they had brough in Prussian advisors during the 19th century– could offer significant resistance to any European army, as they did at Gallipoli (1915). Fanatic scimitar-waving hordes from other Islamic countries did not fare well against Euro-American military science, as described by the jingoistic slogan “Whatever happens, we have got/ the Maxim gun, and they have not.”

Furthermore,

“Newspapers in the Arab world circulate at less than one fifth of the rate in developed countries. Only 1.6 percent has Internet access, Arabic books represent less than 1 percent of the world’s production (with a predominance of religious books), even though Arabs make up 5 percent of world population” (Trudy Rubin, “Arabs’ best stragegy: reform from within,” Wilkes-Barre Times-Leader, 12/28/03).

This is exactly why Islamic countries tend to be poor, violent, Stone Age nations while their Israeli bete noir is an advanced nation with a high standard of living. People who read books are always more advanced than those who burn books and, until the militant Islamic world realizes this, it will be at the bottom. In addition, a culture that relegates half its population (women) to servitude can never compete with one that uses the brains and abilities of every citizen.

Accusations of “Racism” will get you nowhere
It is a common tactic of the American Left to denounce anyone who criticizes barbaric behavior by Third Worlders and nonwhite Americans as a racist. We have been called this name many times and it does not intimidate us. We agree with Martin Luther King’s statement each person has the basic human right to be judged not by the color of his skin but by the content of his character.

In simple terms, your race is your skin, which you cannot (and should not be asked) to change. Your culture and your personal character are like your clothing, which you can. Clothing and culture are, unlike race or ethnicity, voluntary choices. It is not racist to call a person’s clothing ugly, and cultures that degrade women and religious minorities to second-class citizenship while advocating mindless violence in the name of Allah are ugly indeed. Now we come to the question as to what kind of clothing the Muslim Students Association at Michigan State University has chosen to wear.

Muslim Students’ Association: If the Shoe Fits, Wear It
We next remind the Muslim Students Association that there are two classes of people in this country who call themselves Muslims. If these Michigan State students fall into the first class– Muslims with American values– then Professor Wichman was not talking about them and they have no cause to be offended. If they fall into the second class– so-called Muslims who want to turn the United States into a militant Islamic garbage-hole like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Palestinian-controlled Gaza– then their outraged complaints deserve less attention than the noises that come from any barnyard. If they are not American citizens, we encourage them to get on the next plane and go back to wherever they came from. If they are American citizens, we invite them to visit the following Web pages and act on the information therein.

A person who is a national of the United States whether, by birth or naturalization, shall lose his nationality by voluntarily performing any of the following acts with the intention of relinquishing United States nationality:

(5) making a formal renunciation of nationality before a diplomatic or consular officer of the United States in a foreign state, in such form as may be prescribed by the Secretary of State; or

(6) making in the United States a formal written renunciation of nationality in such form as may be prescribed by, and before such officer as may be designated by, the Attorney General, whenever the United States shall be in a state of war and the Attorney General shall approve such renunciation as not contrary to the interests of national defense.

Renunciation is the most unequivocal way in which a person can manifest an intention to relinquish U.S. citizenship. Those contemplating a renunciation of U.S. citizenship should understand that renunciation is irrevocable, except as provided in Section 351 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, and cannot be cancelled or set aside absent successful administrative or judicial appeal.

A person wishing to renounce his or her U.S. citizenship must voluntarily and with intent to relinquish U.S. citizenship:

1. appear in person before a U.S. consular or diplomatic officer,
2. in a foreign country (normally at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate); and
3. sign an oath of renunciation

Renunciations that do not meet the conditions described above have no legal effect.

If further explanation is needed, anyone who thinks that the United States Constitution should be replaced or superseded by Sharia (militant “Islamic” law), that any woman who does not cover her face is a “whore” whom any man can “take,” that Jews and Christians are apes and swine respectively (as taught by official Saudi Arabian textbooks) or advocates terroristic violence against his own country as one in every five British Muslims does, is not wanted in this country. While the infidel Constitution they despise so much gives them the right to advocate such things (as long as they do not act or conspire to act on them), it also gives decent Americans like Professor Wichman and us the right to expose them for what they are.
