Holland: A Nation of Cowards, the Streetwalker of Europe

The Dutch were once a courageous and admirable people who fought their Spanish oppressors and then vied with Great Britain for dominion over the seas. The days of William of Orange and Admiral DeRuyter are long gone, though. As shown by their reaction to physical threats to Member of Parliament Hirsi Ali, the Dutch are now a nation of contemptable cowards who deserve to be collectively raped and trampled under foreign (Islamofascist) bootheels.

We have already shown that physical cowardice is an Arab cultural trait, and that the Dune Goon prefers to get its way by lying and treachery (e.g. hudnas or phony truces). Honor was once so important to Europeans that anyone who called himself a gentleman and any nation that considered itself a gentleman in the community of nations felt obliged to fight to preserve it. Here, for example, is what the Polish magnate Jarema Wisniowiecki said of Poland’s negotiations with Cossacks who had slaughtered Polish citizens, raped Polish women, and looted and burned Polish property.

The lord of Bratslav told the prince [Wisniowiecki] that the negotiations had begun… he hoped to soothe and pacify Khmyelnitski. In conclusion, he begged the prince not to deal too severely with the Cossacks, and to give up as much as possible all warlike undertakings until the close of the negotiations.
Had one announced to the prince that his whole Dnieper country was devastated; that all the cities had been razed to the ground, it would not have wounded him so deeply as did this letter.
…”I would not live in this Commonwealth, for I should be ashamed. The Cossack ‘blacks,’ the peasantry, have flooded the country with blood; united with the Heathen [Crimean Tartars] against their own mother. The hetmans are beaten, the armies destroyed, the glory of the nation trampled underfoot. Authority is overcome, the churches burned down, the priests, the nobles slain, the women ravished; and upon these ruins, this dishonor, at the sight of which our ancestors would have died— what does the Commonwealth answer? With the traitor, with her despoilers, with the allies of the Heathen she enters into negotiations and promises them satisfaction. O God, let me die, I repeat, for we can no longer live in the world who feel the dishonor of the mother country and bring our lives to her as a sacrifice.

Henryk Sienkiewicz, With Fire and Sword (Binion translation, pp. 349-350)

A Reader’s Guide to the Trilogy of Henryk Sienkiewicz explains the Polish word haniebny, “It isn’t merely shame, disgrace, or even dishonor. It denotes such utter degradation and such total and complete humiliation that no self-respecting human being could ever accept it. Indeed, pohanbienie has a ring of such abysmal finality about it, and it suggests such brutality in its application, that death itself would be preferable to it.”

Contrary to popular misconceptions, “honor” has nothing to do with acting like Cyrano de Bergerac and fighting duels with everyone who makes remarks about the length of one’s nose. It does mean consistency in standing up for certain values and principles, and standing up for them all the time and not only when it is safe and convenient. If you, as an individual or a nation, are consistent in your behavior than others will trust and rely on you.

If you are inconsistent, then others will consider you untrustworthy and treat you with contempt. As an example, the fact that Saudi Arabia can continue to hold female citizens in white slavery suggests that the United States will roll over like a cheap whore at the mere suggestion that its oil supply may be interrupted. Honor would consist of finding our own oil sources (e.g. the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge) or building plants to turn our abundant coal into oil– the Germans figured out how to do this during the Second World War– and bringing those women home at gunpoint because no honorable nation allows its citizens to be kidnapped and enslaved. The simple Roman phrase Civis Romana Sum sums it up quite nicely, and the barbarians of that era knew enough not to lay a finger on any Roman citizen.

This principle lasted well into the nineteenth century. As an example, the War of Jenkins Ear resulted from allegations that Spaniards had cut the ear off a British sea captain. The abuse of even one British citizen on the high seas was considered a casus belli and Parliament acted on it. In the nineteenth century, some Turd World country seized a British woman’s servant as “security” for a debt owed by the employer. The Royal Navy rescued the servant at gunpoint and decided, as long as it was in the neighborhood, to burn down the Turd World country’s slave warehouses after liberating their human contents.

Despite the shame (Sienkiewicz would have used the term haniebny, “shameful” or “without honor”) of allowing that filthy so-called kingdom to hold American women as hostages, the United States has yet to sink to the toleration of physical threats to citizens within its own borders. Holland, the streetwalker of all Europe, does as shown by its reaction to terroristic threats to Hirsi Ali.

Islamist Threats To Dutch Politician Bring Chill at Home:
Ms. Hirsi Ali Quits Parliament, Plans to Resettle in U.S. After Losing Safe House
A Debate Over Extremism By ANDREW HIGGINS Wall Street Journal, May 17, 2006; Page A1

THE HAGUE — Dutch politician Ayaan Hirsi Ali has been threatened repeatedly with “execution” by Islamist extremists. She lives in an apartment with bulletproof windows, and is driven to work at the Dutch Parliament by armed guards, who vary the route to outfox would-be hit men.

But an unexpected menace emerged closer to home: her own neighbors. They have fought to evict her, complaining that the presence of a well-known terrorist target in their luxury apartment tower in this Dutch city has upset their family lives and reduced the value of their property.

“Once this lady leaves, the problem is no longer there,” says Ger Verhagen, a retired executive who owns a place two floors above the hunted politician. He says he has nothing personal against Ms. Hirsi Ali. But along with other residents, he wants to banish the fears stirred by the proximity of Holland’s most acid — and most frequently threatened — critic of Islam.

Yesterday, Ms. Hirsi Ali’s neighbor got his wish. Three weeks after a Dutch court ordered her out of the building in response to complaints from Mr. Verhagen and other residents, she resigned from Parliament and said she would leave Holland altogether.

…In late April, a court in The Hague gave Ms. Hirsi Ali four months to vacate her apartment. Her departure, judges ruled, was necessary to protect the “human rights” of her fearful neighbors.

In other words, this very brave woman was ordered out of her home because Islamofascist terrorists threatened her with criminal violence and her neighbors were afraid they might become collateral damage if something happened. In a country with the slightest shred of self-respect, the response would have been an increase in police patrols and prosecution of the threat-makers.

In the United States, sand Nazis, filth in dirty nightshirts, Vermin in Turbans, and Dune Goons do not threaten people for speaking against Islamofascism. This is probably because our law enforcement agencies would not tolerate such threats for an instant, or recommend to those who are threatened that they tone down their politically-incorrect rhetoric. Someone who physically threatens another person or institution for stating an opinion is criminal no matter how offensive he may find the other party’s statement.

What Whore-Land has yet to realize is that the Islamofascists’ threat to Hirsi Ali is an act of war against the Netherlands themselves. Submission to these threats means that Islamofascist subhumans can dictate to a supposedly-civilized nation what its citizens can and cannot say.

We also have plenty of guns in this country and our laws and culture sanction their use against those who break the peace with illegal violence. If Ms. Ali’s neighbors had any self-respect, they would have responded to these terroristic threats by arming themselves– assuming that Dutch laws allow them to do so. Europe, of course, is far more amenable to the kind of laws that the Brady Campaign (formerly Handgun Control Inc.) and its fellow travelers like the Violence Policy Center want. This is not surprising, though, as the European “male” has been thoroughly feminized and he now wants little or nothing to do with weapons. This may be partially due to the pair of horrific wars that were fought on that continent in the past century but it is clear that Europe learned the wrong lessons from that war. Islamofascists are making noises very similar to those of Hitler and the Nazi Party but the Europeans seem quite willing to give Hitler in a Headscarf concessions like those they gave Hitler in a Toothbrush Mustache in 1938.

Robert A. Heinlein wrote that an armed society is a polite society. The common perception is that armed societies were polite because an act of rudeness might evolve into a duel, as portrayed in Dumas’ The Three Musketeers. The real reason, though, is the mindset and psychology that come with responsible weapon ownership. The knight’s sword was a symbol of his duty to protect weaker members of society and behave chivalrously, e.g. with respect and courtesy to women, elderly people, and so on. The sword was the soul of the Japanese samurai, a constant reminder of the samurai’s duty and code of behavior. The sword was a symbol of taking responsibility, not only for one’s self, but usually for others.

The modern American who buys a firearm for self-protection is saying, “I recognize that life involves danger, and by owning a weapon I accept my responsibility to protect myself and those who are entitled to my protection– my wife/husband, children, parents, and perhaps friends and neighbors.” An American who shoots at targets for recreation is practicing a form of self-discipline similar to kyudo (Japanese archery). If you are attacked by a criminal, it is the person with the armed-citizen mindset who is more likely to call the police.

The anti-Second Amendment position is, “I do not want to recognize that life involves danger. I deserve to live in a protected environment, and I should not have to think about protecting myself, my spouse, my parents, my children, or my neighbors. This is the 21st century, and violence simply should not happen.” It’s the same mindset that went with the “ban the Bomb” movements of the 1970s and 1980s; they wanted to legislate the Bomb out of existence and pretend that nuclear war couldn’t (and can’t) happen. The mice voted to put a bell on the cat so they’d be safe. It all goes with dodging and avoiding responsibility, and the moral (and often physical) cowardice that goes with this mindset. Placing responsibility for violence on the inanimate object (the gun or the Bomb) instead of on people goes with it.

Consider Rosie O’Donnell, who has a bodyguard to protect her and her family. Maybe she wants to delegate the physical risks to an employee, or maybe she doesn’t want to endanger her nail polish with a steel trigger guard. Ted Kennedy has, or had, an armed bodyguard. This rich man’s rich boy who never did a lick of honest work in his entire worthless life would not want to touch anything made of steel, whether it be a household tool or a weapon; that is what servants are for. Chinese mandarins grew their fingernails long as proof that they did not have to fight or do any work; that is probably why there are no mandarins today. Here’s the problem with all those bodyguards and rent-a-cops that are so popular with our “beautiful people”/ celebrity/ limousine liberal aristocrat class. Machiavelli’s The Prince says that you cannot pay a man enough to make him willing to die for you. That security person is not going to put his life in serious danger to protect you, your spouse, or your child– and if you’re unwilling to do that, why should he?

Europeans and the Brady Center are far from the only people who embrace this dishonorable and shameful posture. The Urinal, excuse us, Union for Reformed Judaism (formerly the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, a double oxymoron) takes the same anti-Second Amendment position and supports the kind of gun laws the Nazis imposed on German Jews after the “Night of the Broken Glass.” It is, however, well known that Eric Yoffie’s organization is simply the John Conyers/ Nancy Pelosi wing of the Democratic Party with Jewish holidays.

The Brady Campaign and Union for Reformed Judaism are, however, fringe elements of American society and they do not represent mainstream American values. Most Americans still believe in honor (i.e. standing for American values) and will not tolerate threats to our citizens and legal residents on our own soil. Ms. Hirsi Ali is in fact immigrating, she will be a welcome addition to our nation, and Allah have mercy on anyone who threatens her or tries to lay a finger on her here.
