As reported by the Washington Times,

The United Nation’s “sex-for-food” scandal continues to spread. As the human rights group Save the Children documents in a new report, U.N. peacekeepers in the war-torn, refugee-rich Liberia have been accused of selling food for sex from girls as young as 8. They are the latest victims in a growing tragedy that includes girls from Burundi, Ivory Coast, East Timor, Congo, Cambodia and Bosnia, proving correct a prediction made last year by the assistant secretary-general at the United Nations for peacekeeping operations.
…It took U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan nearly a year of similar allegations from the mission in Congo before telling reporters that he was taking the matter seriously.
… Congress should take the place of an unconcerned U.N. bureaucracy and hold hearings to investigate how and why young girls continue to be at the mercy of U.N. workers. At the very least, such hearings would shine a much-needed light on these tiny victims, whose lives have been shattered by the peacekeepers in blue helmets.

The BBC adds,

Young girls in Liberia are still being sexually exploited by aid workers and peacekeepers despite pledges to stamp out such abuse, Save the Children says.

Girls as young as eight are being forced to have sex in exchange for food by workers for local and international agencies, according to its report.

Again, these are not the actions of just a few rogue individuals. Per WorldPress.org,

A report by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the British charity Save the Children, in which some 1,600 children gave statements, accused 67 workers in 40 agencies of offering food and medicine in return for sexual favors.

“…the secretary-general of our camp once told me that if I did not make love to him or give him one of my seven girls aged between 22 years and seven months, they would not supply us with food.”

Per Captain’s Quarters,

The UN’s troops prey specifically on women who have been rape victims, as their society routinely shuns such victims as shameful and “dirtied,” as one such victim called herself. The Independent identified over 30 girls and women who regularly slip through the convenient holes in the wire fence between the refugee camp and where the soldiers bivouac, as one said, sometimes once a night, sometimes more, in order to secure food for themselves and their children.

Per the New York Times,

LONDON Liberian girls as young as 8 are being sexually exploited by United Nations peacekeepers, aid workers and teachers in return for food, small favors and even rides in trucks, according to a report from Save the Children U.K.

…”The girls reportedly ranged in age from 8 to 18 years, with girls of 12 years and upwards identified as being regularly involved in ’selling sex,’ commonly referred to as ‘man business.’”

Remember, this is the same organization that condemns Israel routinely for defending itself from terrorists while turning a blind eye to terroristic violence in the Middle East and Islamofascist genocide in Darfur. It is also the organization that is working with Rebecca Peters’ IANSA (International Action Network on Small Arms) to implement back-door gun control in the United States, perhaps to protect blue-helmeted child rapists from being shot in the act by law-abiding citizens.

In any event, the United Nations should stop asking the United States to fund its operations. In keeping with its character, it should set up a Web site like kiddieporn.un.org or childsex.un.org, which will probably be out of law enforcement’s reach due to diplomatic immunity, so its fellow travelers can fund its operations on a pay-per-view basis. As shown here, the UN already has a copious supply of child pornography to post for this purpose:

When police raided [the United Nations logistics expert’s] home they discovered that he had turned his bedroom into a studio for videotaping and photographing sex sessions with young girls.

The bed was surrounded by large mirrors on three sides, according to a senior Congolese police officer. …When the police arrived the man was allegedly about to rape a 12-year-old girl sent to him in a sting operation. Three home-made porn videos and more than 50 photographs were found.

This, we believe, shows exactly how much respect the United Nations should command from the world’s civilized nations. General Assembly and Security Council resolutions from child molesters, child tamperers, “rock spiders,” or whatever one chooses to call these mentally-sick vermin, along with those like Kofi Annan who tolerate their presence and actions, are not worthy of respect or even notice by anyone.
